Dr. Marie-Louise Craig will be presenting a paper titled "Hebrew-English Lexicography in America prior to 1900."

Here is the abstract of her paper: This paper is part of a chapter in a history of Hebrew-English lexicography. The American H-E lexicographers are an interesting study because of their personalities and the politics of publication and scholarship in this field. The paper presents a short biography on each lexicographer, including his interactions with others in the field and an outline of his contribution.
