Anglican Foundations - Offered in Summer Semester 2022

Enrol now in Anglican Foundations (THL315 / THL440), to learn more of the challenges of the Anglican Church as well as its hopes for the future.

Twelve informative and entertaining lectures plus two Zoom Workshops!

Don't miss the opportunity to learn about the Anglican Church from our Archbishop Dr Phillip Aspinall and Bishop Jonathan Holland.

The course, held over four Saturdays, provides a door to a deeper understanding of Anglicanism, with time for questions and reflections.

Saturday, November 5, 2022 and Saturdays, January 28, 11 February and 25 February, 2023 from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM plus zoom workshops on Mondays 28 November and 16 January.

This subject explores the development of Anglican faith and life since its beginnings in England. It examines the distinctive features of method and content in Anglican theology through selected studies in ecclesiology, ethics, worship and spirituality. Special attention is given to the analysis of the writings of major Anglican theologians and influential commentaries on Anglican history and tradition. Anglicanism in the Australian context is also explored.
