St Francis College has been offering Spiritual Direction Formation programs for more than 15 years:
The one year “The Art of Contemplative Listening” introduces the stance and skills for deep listening and reflection.
The four year Spiritual Direction Formation Program offers participants an opportunity, with experienced Spiritual Directors, to explore a call to this ministry and to develop their practice in companioning others in their interior journeys. This formation program is formally recognised by the Australian Ecumenical Council of Spiritual Direction.
New in 2026, is the opportunity for participants in the St Francis Spiritual Direction Program to be accredited with a Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction from the University of Divinity.
