Join us for a special St Francis Day gathering as we celebrate the life of St Francis and honour the legacy of Mr Geoffrey Thomas Roscoe.
We begin with a service in the Chapel, with The Rev’d Dr Gregory Jenks presiding as celebrant and preacher for the Eucharist. This will be followed by afternoon tea in Lecture Room 1 where we will pay tribute to Mr Roscoe for his enormous contribution to St Francis College through his work in the library.
This year marks:
50 years since Mr Roscoe began his service in the library;
40 years since the library was named in his honour; and
50 years since Greg Jenks first joined the St Francis College community.
For those who have not entered the Roscoe Library in recent years, this occasion will provide an opportunity to go upstairs to see the renovations undertaken during 2021.
Please join us as we celebrate St Francis Day and share in this tribute to Mr Geoffrey Thomas Roscoe.
