Apply for the Ivor Church Bursary – Deadline 30 November

Are you a current or former student of St Francis College considering postgraduate theological research in 2026?

Applications are now open for the Ivor Church Bursary, which supports alumni pursuing higher degree research, particularly doctoral studies through the University of Divinity. The bursary may also assist with Minor Thesis units or support attendance at overseas courses and conferences.

Eligibility includes:

  • Current or former students of St Francis College

  • Admission to a PhD or Minor Thesis program at the University of Divinity

  • Registration for an overseas course or conference in 2026

  • Demonstrated capacity to contribute to Australian theological scholarship

 

To apply, you’ll need to provide documentation for one of the following:

  • Admission into a higher degree research program

  • A Minor Thesis proposal

  • Registration or application for an overseas course or conference
