Hymn Writing Workshop

  • St Francis College 233 Milton Road 4064 Australia (map)

Create, edit, polish, repeat: the hard work of hymn writing

We remember what we sing, so our hymns and worship songs need to say something worth remembering. It needs to be true, beautiful, and repeatable. It needs to be something that hasn’t been said and sung a hundred times before. This workshop, for accomplished or beginning writer of hymns or worship songs, will encourage theological substance, linguistic clarity, and contextual awareness.
