St Francis College Writing Day | November 2026

  • St Francis College 233 Milton Road 4064 Australia (map)

Struggling to find uninterrupted time to write? Join us for a dedicated, distraction-free day designed to help you focus, build momentum, and make meaningful progress on your project.

Whether you're working on an essay, sermon, thesis, article, research paper, or personal writing project, this is an opportunity to step away from daily distractions and spend a full day doing what matters most: writing.

We've created a quiet, supportive environment with individual writing stations and a structured rhythm to help you stay productive throughout the day.

How It Works

We'll use the proven Pomodoro Technique, alternating focused writing sessions with short breaks:

  • 25 minutes of focused writing

  • 5 minutes to stretch, recharge, and refocus

This simple but effective approach helps maintain concentration, prevent burnout, and keep your writing moving forward.

What's Included?

✅ A quiet, dedicated writing space

✅ Structured Pomodoro writing sessions throughout the day

✅ Tea, coffee, and light snacks

✅ Encouragement and accountability from fellow writers

✅ Optional hybrid participation via Zoom

Can't Attend in Person?

Join us online. Remote participants are welcome to take part via Zoom, with regular check-ins throughout the day to help keep everyone motivated, connected, and accountable.

Bring Your Project. Leave with Progress.

Whether you're trying to finish a chapter, overcome writer's block, meet a deadline, or simply carve out uninterrupted writing time, this day is for you.

Bring your laptop, notebook, ideas, and determination. We'll provide the space, structure, and coffee.

Settle in. Stay focused. Write more than you thought possible. ✍️📚
