Discovering Your Call from God
Every baptised person carries a call from God. Sometimes that call is clear; at other times it feels tentative, emerging slowly in prayer, conversation, and quiet attentiveness to the Spirit.
Discovering God’s call is rarely a straight path. It often unfolds over time, through reflection, listening, and honest conversation with others on the journey.
Seekers Day offers a welcoming space for those beginning to ask questions such as:
Where might God be leading me? What is being stirred in my heart?
Whether you are exploring a call to deeper lay ministry or wondering about ordination, you are not alone. The Church provides a pathway of companionship and discernment to help you listen for God’s voice.
About Seekers
Many people begin simply with a conversation with their Parish Priest —
“Something feels like it’s stirring… I wonder what it might mean?”
Seekers Day is part of the Seekers stage, a time to explore your sense of call alongside others who are also listening for God. Through prayer, teaching, reflection, and the sharing of stories, Seekers gatherings offer space to discern without pressure, expectation, or hurry.
