Privacy Collection Statement
The Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane trading as Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ) and St Francis’ Theological College ABN 32 025 287 276 collects personal information, including sensitive information, about St Francis College grant applicants for the purposes of assessing their eligibility for financial or other study assistance according to the purposes and constraints set by the grant Trust.
The primary purpose of collecting information is to allow the grant’s Board and ACSQ in its capacity as Trustee, to exercise its functions and activities and assess and approve the application of grant monies to assist St Francis theological students qualify as clergy.
ACSQ collects, uses, holds, and discloses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If ACSQ does not obtain personal information from you, it may not be possible for you to be considered for a study grant. Personal Information may be disclosed to others for administrative, legal and insurance purposes including the Diocesan administration offices. Your personal information will be shared with other parties that assist us in carrying out our functions and activities and/or that provide services to us.
Your personal information may be transferred to and stored in other countries including the United States. From time to time, ACSQ (including St Francis’ Theological College) may send you information and materials including the College’s newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive this material, you can unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe link at the base of these materials or by contacting us by phone.
The Anglican Church Southern Queensland Privacy Policy deals with your right to access and correct personal information that the Parish holds about you as well as how you can make a complaint if you believe the Parish has breached the APPs.
