Profile
Lynette is an ordained minister in the Uniting Church in Australia with over 30 years of ministry experience, including leadership of multiple congregations and extensive work in spiritual direction and supervision. For nearly three decades, she has been a spiritual director and for over 19 years a professional person-centred supervisor. She served for many years on the formation team of the Wellspring Art of Spiritual Companioning Program and has contributed nationally to the development of formation guidelines for supervisors of spiritual directors.
Her academic achievements include a PhD from La Trobe University entitled “Supervising from a Contemplative Stance: A Collaborative Inquiry”, as well as a Master of Theology and Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction. Lynette is widely respected as a teacher, retreat leader, and workshop facilitator, having presented across Australia and internationally on contemplative supervision and spiritual care.
Lynette is passionate about fostering contemplative ways of being and empowering others to grow as spiritual directors and supervisors. She resonates deeply with St Francis’ vision of flourishing faith communities and lifelong learning, and we are excited to see how Lynette continues to build a program that nurtures attentive listening to God, others, and self.
