Profile

The Rev’d Michael Stalley is the Director of Clergy Development, Training and Wellbeing. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from BCT and a Master of Ministry (with Distinction) from CSU.

Michael has 26 years of ordained ministry experience in the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland, serving across a variety of contexts. He has a particular interest in experiential and participatory worship and learning for faith formation. His academic work has focused on faithful leadership in uncertain and complex contexts.  This work is key to his understanding of how we form faithful leaders who are missionally imaginative. 

In his current role with ACSQ, Michael draws on this experience to oversee the processes of inquiry, discernment, formation, and wellbeing across ordained and licensed lay ministry of the diocese.
